When a friend offered me that 'I'll see the last weekend, I decided to take her to a tea room. So I went against the unspoken rule which requires that only girls taste, because taste, as everyone knows, "it's not for boys" (I say just pfffffffffffffffff).
And as I like to go after things, I took him to the Tea Caddy. The Tea Caddy is an institution. Opened in 1928, is the essence of English tea room that stands before you. You enter a room with large wooden panels, and are immediately seized with a desire to whisper. I was not gone for almost four years, but nothing has changed. When the friend arrived, he had to finally admit that there are men. But the atmosphere is so at odds with a bar rubgymen they are hardly noticeable, they blend into the decor ...
I chose a vanilla tea Madagascar and scones with homemade strawberry jam. My friend took him a cold coffee ("you're sick?? I will not drink tea ???") and crumble. Apparently the crumble was very good ... My tea was delicious anyway and my scones were perfect, even if I had forgotten that they are preparing. I like my scones prepare myself, cut in half, put a thick layer of cream, and add jam. Another thing, as I usually eat at home, and I do for a regiment, did have two little me a little frustrated. But you tell me it's better for my line, and you do not twist ... The other desserts looked equally delicious and I would return their muffins taste good. Beware the muffins are not muffins U.S., but a sort of brioche that you eat with butter and jam!
Apart from that the service is lovely although sometimes a little hesitant.

Very easy to do with the Big Shot and more, we can cut a little of everything. Here, I cut the big thick chipboard which I pasted paper design. I will not tell you about my Friday night, but to summarize a lot of funny business, I am lost, I saw a movie no one (the latest Clint) it rained, and still other stuff relous. In short this evening could have been a complete flop. But here's Ball Café stands with all her small stature, and saves the day when we do not expect it ... Yet
arrived in the alley ... I said "cut- throat ". And then we go anyway (hunger motivation), and fall on the restaurant. The reception is very nice, although we have not reserved. I take two inputs, one slice of bread with sheep's brain and another with green beans, shallots and boiled eggs. All with a small beer a little bitter.
So the brains of sheep, was a first for me, and it was fabulous. They put just the right seasoning, the bread was crisp and hot, and so the brain melting! I tasted at the same time the green beans, which also crunched between the teeth, the egg was perfectly cooked, the limit of the calf ... And I must speak my melting shallots and wonderful! And everything went very well together, the freshness, taste and crunch / flux.
So to be honest I was not hungry, but given the level of salt, I did not help but take the sweet. What curiosity. I chose the cheesecake, and I must say that I am demanding level cheesecake, mine is not bad at all ... When I bit into it, I have a surprise: it is even more melting that basis ... How is it? Well these little devils, above a normal basis of cheesecake (but a very successful basis I might add) have added a layer of cream of top quality. I love good fresh cream (I could limit to eat with a spoon), so much tell you quec'était ecstasy. Some will say it was a bit heavy, but it will certainly not me.
So here we go with that? well for once, I will not say "certainly not for a date." Indeed there is something relaxing about this address, and at the same time a little hype. The servers are adorable, no reason a priori that there are tensions .... You feel free to have dinner soon or a long ... is varied ... In short it can please a lot of types of people!

It's my lucky day, I hear Mitsou, a dinette dim sum. The name is very girlie "I read another 20 years," but what the hell, let's go on an adventure! It's pretty weird, there's a bit of everything in this restaurant, and yet something is missing. or maybe there is something extra. The next table for example.
For we have here another example of the concept "eat with your neighbor." In fact it's a little friendly (basically you look at what those neighbors have taken to eat and it inspires you) but it's mostly relous moments: x neighbor wants to go to the bathroom, and there is the bustle for battle, generally, if every restaurant does not make sense to let him go ... He is super shy, especially when, by the way, he reverses the limit table and the cups that are above. You're standing, you expect it passes, and the worst is that you know he'll come back. So once he is past you reinstall, but are waiting back ... And he comes back, apologize profusely, while good, it was right to want to wash their hands anyway ...
Yet we fell pretty good, no big relous or anything, but ... when you tell the time biting your evening, you still tend to look at how many ears are listening ...

But when I go to the restaurant, I want to be sitting comfortably, I want to be taken care of me, I want to relax and sustain me. At the restaurant you have to be in a simple world and not be on permanent alert.
But what did you eat me you will say. I took a ceviche of cod in the entrance. It was good but not enough statement (however small lemon sauce was successful). My commensal chose shells st-Jacques (+2 € compared the menu) and found it very good, "especially the sauce with carrots." Again. By cons I ask for salt, it brings salt (no pepper but eh, because I had to ask for salt and pepper). Weary of war I happy with my salt. Of course the salt is a little wet, so, I had to open it to nab the salt inside, macgyver I am ... And the server sees nothing, does nothing: it was mainly the air in agony. In
dish I chose the roast leg of lamb and mashed potatoes. I found it really good. The puree was perhaps a bit too classic and buttered, but it is a very personal opinion.
So here is fairly good, it's pretty cool, though I will not return, an issue of living space. If this stuff does not bother you, go ahead. Anyway avoid the date huh, get excited because duty for wine and salt, it's not glam.
